Carthage Festival
The Carthage Music Festival is the country's biggest arts event and mixes a programme of local and international sounds in the old Roman amphitheatre. The festival was founded in 1964 and has, over the years, attracted many of the greatest names in jazz music. The festival also includes many well-known African and world wide artists. Performances take place each summer in the old Roman amphitheatre which is incredibly atmospheric and a great place to see live music performed.

The town is 3 Km far from Golden Tulip Carthage Tunis, it is a tourist attraction as it is known for the extensive use of blue and white colors of buildings all over the town. All kinds of souvenirs, can be bought in the main street. Tourists from
Hammamet and other tourist towns usually come to Sidi Bou Said. It can be reached by a

Palais du Baron Erlanger - Nejma ezzahra Baron Rodolphe d'Erlanger was a French painter and musicologist specializing in Arabic music. He studied in Paris and London.
His palace at Sidi Bou Said, in northern Tunisia, which he named Ennejma Ezzahra, was built between 1909 and 1921.[2] The structure now houses the Centre des musiques arabes et méditerranéennes. He helped to revive the musical genre known as ma'luf during the 1920s.

Carthage Roman Sites Today, it is mainly Roman sites (theatres, temples, villas and baths), which can be seen in Carthage 5 km far from Golden Tulip Carthage tunis. Among the highlights are the ruins of the Roman amphitheatre and the thermal Antonine Baths, which were once the largest baths built by the Romans.
You can get a great view of Carthage by climbing the nearby Byrsa Hill, on which you'll also find the Carthage Museum (tel. 1/34 10 77). The museum displays mosaics, sculptures and artifacts from the period before Carthage was destroyed by Rome in 146 BC.
Also on Byrsa Hill is St. Louis Cathedral, built by the French in 1890 and dedicated to the 13th century saint-king who died on the shores of Carthage in 1270. It is now deconsecrated and used for concerts

Dah Dah: Tunisia Happy Land Entertainment Park
The Dah Dah Park was the first amusement park to open in Tunisia, dating from 1995. It is located near the cornice in the new suburb of the Berges du Lac which is developing between the airport and Tunis Lake (from Tunis, take the GP9, the road to La Marsa). This 11-hectare Luna-Park enjoys many indoor and outdoor rides and games (video game, billiards, baby-foot) for the kids (from 3 years-old), teenagers as well as their parents!
